Wellness at ORC Industries

ORC Industries is entirely dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all of our employees by promoting individual health and wellness, as well as inspiring employees’ personal and professional productivity, and physical and mental well-being. The mission of ORC Industries’ Wellness Center is to establish and maintain an environment that encourages and supports a healthy lifestyle.

The ORC Wellness Centers

In 2005, ORC Industries invested over two and a half million dollars into two state-of-the-art Wellness Centers, dedicated to the health and well-being of our employees. They are located in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and in Brownsville, Texas.

Greater Independence through Good Health

Our mission speaks of independence and self-reliance on the part of those we serve, namely, our employees with disabilities.  At ORC Industries, we consider our investment in these Wellness Centers to be a reinvestment in our own mission, and in the very people we serve on a daily basis.

Health and Wellness at ORC

Staying healthy is a choice. Providing health and wellness benefits is ORC Industries commitment to helping each and every one of our employees live a healthier lifestyle. You don’t have to start from scratch.  With a little hard work and assistance from our Wellness Center staff, we can reach our health goals. ORC Industries has a dual focus of providing all our employees with or without disabilities working opportunities as well as several health and wellness programs throughout each year. These range from biometric health screenings, tennis shoes, dental & vision care reimbursements, flu shots, medical deductible reimbursement to annual employee fund-sponsored physicals free of charge.  ORC Industries also provides discounted health insurance premium rates for employees participating in the ORC Wellness program.  The onsite Wellness Centers in La Crosse, Wisconsin and Brownsville, Texas are a significant step towards increasing employee independence and health.
