Complaints about drooping brims in hot climates led to reinforced stitching—still used today—to maintain its signature shape. My husband served in the Naval Reserves in the late 60s early 70s. He still has his peacoat and it fits. He long ago lost his Dixie Cup and this was a perfect replacement. Thank you.

Cool hat.

Very nice hat. Fits exact to loose. Should be able to roll down the rim when on. I'm a 7 1/8 and a 7 and 7 1/4 both fit. The 7 is snug and the larger one is looser but good. I have a shaved head. The feel is different than a regular cap because of the roll down rim which takes wearing to get used to. To get it to Canada I used a mail forwarding service (Shippsy.com).
