POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Facility Maintenance/Mechanic to maintain and repair our facility and production equipment. This role focuses on general mechanical, electrical, and HVAC maintenance, as well as preventative maintenance on production machines such as cutters, molding equipment, and benders. Experience with industrial sewing machines is a plus, but not required—we will provide training for the right candidate.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Perform general facility maintenance including electrical, HVAC, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

2. Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot production equipment (cutters, molding equipment, benders, etc.) to ensure smooth operations.

3. Diagnose equipment issues and requisition parts or supplies to keep all equipment operational.

4. Recommend improvements to equipment performance, production efficiency, and workplace safety.

5. Assist with installation of new equipment and collaborate with purchasing on parts and vendor sourcing.

6. Comply with all EHS/Safety rules and support a safe work environment.

7. Performs other job related duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

3–5 years of experience in facility or equipment maintenance preferred. Strong mechanical, electrical, and technical troubleshooting skills. HVAC, plumbing, or general industrial equipment experience a plus. Experience with industrial sewing machines is optional; training will be provided. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and work orders. Ability to lift, climb, and perform physical tasks related to maintenance. Experience in industrial sewing equipment is a plus, but training will be provided.
