The sturdiness of the stitching and tie downs gives me the confidence that this poncho will last, and the fact you can convert it into a rain catcher / shelter makes it versatile in what ever you need it for
This is the only new military poncho to get if you want quality and authenticity. Don't bother with the imports or "usgi military style" when you can get this one for the same price or cheaper. The issue Poncho liner fits perfectly unlike the others.
This is the best out there. Thank you Orc!
Looking for a multi use poncho for this upcoming rainy spring? Check out the one made by Red Feather. It is plenty big to wear over even the biggest of backpacks. The 16 snaps allows for plenty of adjustments that allows your hands to be free to move around. The grommets allow for this to be used as a tarp or even ground cover. Proudly made in tbe USA 🇺🇸 I would strongly recommend this poncho to anyone that is looking for protection from the rain while hiking, camping or hunting.
You probably came here because you wanted to buy what you were issued back in the day. The good news is that you’ve come to the right place - and there is no bad news. I’ve read where some people were disappointed that the buttons were now plastic and/or that they were hard to button. It’s true, they’ve moved to a durable plastic - and yes, it can be briefly difficult to snap them until you figure out how to apply pressure and at what angle - and then it’s fast and easy. I was pretty happy with my initial purchase, so I bought another to make the two-poncho tent. Grommets and string/synch are of solid quality. You won’t be disappointed.
This poncho is great! Just like the one I was issued in the army, but brand new with great snaps and hod closure. Top shelf construction. This is the “real deal”, not a cheap foreign knockoff.
