This multi-purpose Poncho is made with 1.6 ounce polyurethane coated ripstop nylon to withstand numerous foul weather conditions.

Details: The Wet Weather Poncho is made to Military Specifications - specifically designed to cope with the harshest elements in the world. The 1.6 ounce polyurethane coated, ripstop nylon body (96" X 66") provides the ultimate in foul weather protection and numerous other applications: tent, body bag, cistern, floor covering, and sleeping bag cover. The poncho comes with an attached hood that is chemically sealed to ensure 100% waterproof integrity with waist and hood drawstrings - anything else is a copy. The poncho is usually carried on a soldier's butt-pack or in one of the outer pockets of his/her rucksack. ORC Industries has been the sole source for Wet Weather Ponchos to the U.S. Armed Forces since 1982.

Singing in the Rain

Well, maybe not quite singing but I am happy with the poncho. Built to military spec which is what I wanted for wearing or setting up a temp shelter in an emergency. Good price too. I would purchase again or recommend to a friend.

Very nice!

Very pleased with this poncho. Much like the one I that I had in the Army years ago, except that that one was olive drab color with steel grommets. I hope these plastic grommets hold up. But I do like this new one anyway.

Camping Trip

Purchased 3 ponchos and liners just like I have when I was in the Army in the 80's to go camping/hiking with my boys. Was not calling for rain so we took no tents and was planning on using this as a sleeping system. Unfortunately it rained all weekend off an on but at night we stayed dry and warm while using them to sleep in/on. Very good product and would purchase them again no question about it!

Very nice poncho but the plastic snap buttons are hard to snapped. Other than that it works as it should, no leaks in a huge downpour of rain.
